Food, Hawaii, food, FUN... did I mention food?

We had the opportunity to go to Hawaii for a week "for work" and it was so amazing. I loved every second of it, even getting car sick and helicopter sick! The plane ride over was long, we were all anxious to get there. We got real, smell good, beautiful lais when we got there. From there there was food, I felt like my belly never did empty while we were there. I truly gained weight, check out my face, I always show it there. But we got massages, laid by the pool, while the guys had a meeting and golfed, we went horse riding. Which we laughed real hard at our "trail horses." We drove around the island to see the volcano and the lava flowing into the ocean, had delicious slushies which are not what you think, beautiful waterfalls, a black beach. It was a long drive in the backseat of the red dragon with a crazy driver and co-pilot- which resulted in extreme car sickness with no emesis!! The next day we went shopping while the guys golfed again. It was way fun. Regret always follows- I should have bought that- ya know? Oh- we had delicious steak, then 1/2 a chicken- literally. We did a snorkeling adventure, which was my favorite day, for those who know me well, you may think I am lying, but I swam in the ocean! It was a little scary and I may have had dramatics, but I am shutting that part out. Then sitting by the pool. We got to go to a luau. OH in Hilo, it said, "home of the Spartans." Our resort was huge and amazing. We got to go to the temple, which is always amazing and then to the beach. Then our helicopter ride, which resulted in a moderate case of motion sickness. Oh, and we paid 14 dollars to play tennis, went to walmart and costco, ate at Wendy's. It was amazing, we laughed so hard! Got to know new people, missed kids together, and ate- did I mention that yet? Thanks so much to Wayne, Teresa, Johnny, and Ashley, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us!
